Making Israel Greener: KKLJNF

In Israel, the 15th of Shvat on the Hebrew calendar, which coincides with Wednesday
February 8th is the New Year for Trees. While this date is important regarding some
Jewish laws, it has been transformed into a National Arbor Day

Let’s take a look around our own yards, neighborhoods, parks etc and discover some
things about the trees around us.http://www.aish.com/h/15sh/mm/50574097.html
